Nebraska employers added nearly 4,800 jobs in September as the state's unemployment rate once again retreated below 4 percent.

For the fourth time this year, Nebraska's jobless rate was below 4 percent, clocking in at 3.9 percent for September as the total labor force grew by more than 3,500 people and 1,200 fewer Nebraskans were counted as unemployed.
